1. The 7-Day Escrow Window

You have 7 days from delivery to inspect your item while funds are still safe in Escrow.

The safest time to request a refund is while the money is still in Escrow (before you click "Confirm Receipt").

Inspect It

Check for defects.

If you find an issue, click "Report Problem" immediately. Do NOT click "Confirm Receipt" if you intend to return the item.

2. After Confirmation (Disputes)

Once you confirm receipt, funds are released. Returns become 'Disputes' and are harder to process.

Clicking "Confirm Receipt" is a binding action that releases funds to the seller. Refunds after this point are not guaranteed and require opening a manual Dispute Ticket. DaySells acts as a mediator, but we cannot forcibly retrieve funds if the seller has already withdrawn them.

3. Instant Wallet Refunds

Refunds go to your DaySells Wallet instantly. Bank transfers take 5-7 days.

To ensure you get your money back fast, DaySells defaults to Wallet Refunds.

  • Wallet Credit: Instant (0-1 Hour processing). Use immediately for other items.
  • Bank Reversal: Optional upon request. Takes 5-7 Business Days depending on NIBSS networks.

4. Coin Revocation

If you earned Loyalty Coins for a purchase that is subsequently refunded, those Coins will be automatically deducted from your balance. If you have already spent the coins, the equivalent value (Naira) will be deducted from your refund amount.
